Про це в неділю, 29 січня, у Twitter повідомив мікроблог Clash Report, що спеціалізується на оперативних новинах, з посиланням на джерела арабомовного новинного телеканалу Al-Arabiya, що базується в Еміратах (ОАЕ).

На об’єкті Міноборони Ірану міг бути склад із балістичними ракетами. В оборонному відомстві назвали інцидент “невдалою атакою” і не поклали відповідальності на конкретну країну чи угруповання. У Міноборони Ірану стверджували, що один із дронів був збитий, а два інших потрапили до оборонних пасток, завдавши лише “незначних ушкоджень”.
Вибух також стався на підприємстві з виробництва моторного мастила в Азаршахрі на північному заході країни. За даними Al-Arabiya, вибухи зафіксовані також у Решті (провінція Гілян) та в Тегерані, проте влада не підтвердила ці повідомлення.
