КИЇВ. 21 січня. УНН. У столиці Німеччині Берліні українці вийшли на мітинг, обурені тим, що ФРН уникає надання Україні танків Leopard. Мітингувальники вийшли з плакатами “Save Ukraine” (Збережіть Україну) та “Freie die Leoparden!” (Звільніть “Леопардів”). Про це повідомляє УНН, посилаючись на Berliner Zeitung.

Близько 300 українців організували мітинг біля стін відомства канцлера Німеччини Олафа Шольца. Вони скандували “Ганьба” та “Олаф Шольц, надай зброю для України”. Зазначається, що ці гасла неодноразово звучали на демонстраціях української громади в Берліні протягом останнього року.
“Але сьогодні вони звучать інакше. У голосах, які ніби заповнили своїми криками всю площу від Канцелярії до Будинку Пауля Льобе, ви можете почути більше емоцій, більше розчарування, більше гніву – і, безперечно, більше відчаю”, – пише журналіст.
Організаторами мітингу стало Об’єднання молодих українців у Берліні. Демонстранти несли українські прапори, саморобні плакати, деякі з них одягли прикраси з леопардовим принтом. На одному з плакатів українською мовою було написано: “Якби Німеччина відправила “Леопарди” раніше, трагедії в Дніпрі не сталося б”.

У п’ятницю, 20 січня, відбулося чергове засідання Контактної групи з питань оборони України на авіабазі Рамштайн у Німеччині. За підсумками засідання Україна отримає ракети для систем NASAMS, зенітно-ракетні комплекси Avenger, системи протиповітряної оборони Patriot та іншу військову допомогу.
Президент України Володимир Зеленський заявив, що “Рамштайн” зміцнив стійкість України, але “за танки доведеться поборотися”.
